But Weight, There's Less - Introduction 101

Have you ever had an a-ha moment? Webster's described an a-ha moment as an event in time when you have a sudden realization. I had my first a-ha moment relating to my weight a few years ago. I had reached my highest weight of over 300 pounds. I no longer recognized the person standing in the mirror. I began fad dieting, and lost 60+ pounds within a year. 

I was living it up. I was still not skinny nor had I reached my goal weight. Yet, I had more energy, and was looking great in a size 20 if I said so myself. Then tragedy struck, My entire life changed within a year. I gained all the weight back, and was diagnosed with HypoThyroidism. I allowed that to be yet another excuse, and went back to living my old negative ways.

That is where I have been for the last few years. I had hit rock bottom but, I have came up fighting. I have rejoined the gym for the first time in two years. I have entered into a Sparkpeople's Biggest Loser Challenge. I am on my way to living a more healthier, happier lifestyle. It is not how many times life knocks you down, What matters is How many times you can get back up. But Weight, There's Less is my journey of self-discovery, and better health.
